Taiko 3!

The next Taiko for DS is out! I know a lot more songs on the song list this time, including:

  • GReeeeN – キセキ (Kiseki)
  • Hilcrhyme – 春夏秋冬 (Shunkashuutou)
  • 初音ミク – メルト (Miku Hatsune – Melt) (vocaloid)
  • Michael Jackson – Thriller
  • FLOW – Sign (Naruto Shippuuden opening 6)
  • となりのトトロ (Tonari no Totoro)

As usual, there’s also an IDOLM@STER song, songs from Power Rangers style anime, a Doraemon song, and classical and modern remixes of classics (there’s a March of the Saints remix that sounds pretty good). All in all, something to look forward to on the bus :P

Chess assignment

After I started reading a book on Design Patterns, I changed one of my abstract base classes to an interface. I think it’s definitely a better design for my program, so don’t you go copying it if you’re in my 251 class >:|

Secret project (if you don’t know what it is, don’t ask me)

Haven’t touched it since the beginning of the holidays, unfortunately. Waiting permission to use a font sheet (9pt Verdana) I found, after which I’ll be implementing my font system. With that out of the way, scoring, combo, and all other places where text has to be displayed should be much easier to program.

Cubing

Learnt two new OLL algorithms about a week ago, although since then I’ve only used the two algorithms less than 5 times. Haven’t timed any solves since ages ago D:

Pokemon

Lucario at lv50, with the moveset I wanted. Got a 34-win streak at battle tower, but I hit an unlucky streak (90 accuracy attack missed twice in a row :/).

I’ve started playing Pokemon Pearl again, continuing with my 100hour+ save from last year.

My save was corrupted for some reason but luckily I still had my near perfect IV and perfectly EV trained lv 100 Porygon-Z in my back up save. Now I’m working on my other two battle Pokemon (Lucario and possibly Wailord).

I had fun trying to make Smeargle learn moves I need for my Lucario so I could breed a male Riolu with the right moves. Took a few battles over WFC for me to realise that Sketch doesn’t save over multiplayer. After reading around, I learnt that I had to do it in a double battle and tell my Smeargle to target my other Pokemon.

So after all that I bred a male Riolu (must be male to pass moves down). Now I gotta get that Riolu’s happiness to max so I can evolve it to a Lucario and start breeding it for one with the right stats.

First, a box in the PC full of Porygon, now I’m going to get one full of Riolu :)

…Maybe I’ll try to organise a tournament on osu!… after I’ve trained the new Pokemon first, of course :P
